Slaters raise a glass at the racesJuly 22, 2009 Slaters Electricals Ltd once again enjoyed a prestigious day at Gosforth Park races for the annual John Smiths Northumberland Plate race meeting. Champagne was flowing, the weather was kind and the glamorous attire yet again set the scene for a fantastic day on Saturday 27th June 2009. As is the norm for the Plate meeting it was a sell out event for Newcastle Racecourse, with 30,000 creating a great atmosphere and an excellent day of racing. Mark Simblett, Business Development Manager commented: “We would like to thank all of our valued customers and friends who attended our event at Newcastle races. It is always a fantastic day out at Gosforth Park and yet again we were not let down.
